In the flickering twilight, a sinister invitation awaits: the Haunted Trail, a passage into a world where horror movies come to life. Venture forth, brave souls, as ancient trees whisper chilling secrets, and the air grows thick with dread. Each step you take resonates with echoes of those who ventured before—now trapped in the realm where nightmares bleed into reality. Amidst the shadows, the boundary between the living and the celluloid terrors blurs, and you're left to navigate a heart-pounding dance between the macabre and the unimaginable. Dare you tread the Haunted Trail, where screams are scripted and your fear takes center stage?
Make plans to celebrate Halloween by taking a walk down the Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department’s “Haunted Trail,” October 27-29, at Ford Field in west Dearborn, beginning each day at 7 PM. Where else can you come face to face with famous figures from Hollywood horror movies, like Freddy Kruger, Ghostface, Chucky, Jason, the Alien Xenomorph Queen, and everyone’s favorite . . . Beetlejuice?
The Haunted Trail experience* also includes a special Ghostbusters Show—performances are at 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45 PM—games for young attendees, and food trucks, from which hungry participants can purchase savory fare.
Tickets for the Haunted Trail experience—priced at $5 individuals and $10 for families—purchase tickets here. A nominal service charge is added to the cost of each ticket. Tickets—which are day and time specific—are limited and should be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold on site.
*The Haunted Trail takes travelers through the woods and may be challenging for carriages and wheelchairs due to weathers conditions and natural barriers that are beyond our control. The Haunted Trail experience may be too intense for young children.
